Design Leadership — 2019
Virgin Money set out to launch an app-first challenger bank in Australia — smart banking capabilities for a new generation, combined with rewards. As UX Director I oversaw the UX team and provided direction into the design of the new product.
The program was very large in scale, spanning everything from the core banking platform to the app build. The experience we created was less about transacting and more about healthy financial habits.
Outcome
62K customers onboarded in the first year, with an average time to open an account of 15 minutes.
