MyGov

To fulfil Australia’s ambition to become a digital leader, the government sought to deliver a proof-of-concept for a new front door to government — one that would help Australians easily understand and access the services they’re entitled to. As the global pandemic began, my team worked directly with the Prime Minister’s office, and myGov Beta evolved into the next generation of myGov. As Design Director for the alpha phase and the subsequent scale-up, I set the vision, established the overarching UX patterns, and worked with my team to incrementally deliver the solution. This role spanned product strategy, research, design, and implementation.

Outcome

After a succesfuly proof-of-concept, ‘MyGov Beta’ transitioned into the new myGov used by millions of Australians.
